Congratulations to Zahra Aljabri, who received a prize package worth $50,000 sponsored by GoDaddy. The custom prize includes a cash prize, marketing and media support, and a mentoring sessions with GoDaddy chief marketing and customer officer, Barb Rechterman.
Zahra is the founder of Mode-sty. Her company is the first online marketplace catering solely to stylish, modestly dressing women.
Zahra launched Mode-sty in 2012 and has since gotten publicity from Forbes to Refinery29. She aims to address a massive population of women of all faiths who are choosing to dress modestly and deserve to be catered to, aiming to unify rather than divide women via fashion.The Pitch Keynote this year was supported by our longtime conference partner, GoDaddy. The Pitch was emceed in 2016 by Sallie Krawcheck, chief executive officer and co-founder of Ellevest, a recently launched digital investment platform for women.

Barika Edwards, founder, OweYaa, a web-based platform that engages military services members and spouses through an exchange with startups and nonprofits to help them develop skills and gain civilian work experience
Ritu Narayan, founder of Zum, an online marketplace that helps busy parents secure trustworthy scheduled and on-demand rides and care for their kids
Stacy Katz, founder of Not Parent Approved, a card game for families inspired by Cards Against the Humanity that is appropriate for kids
Zahra Aljabri, founder of Mode-Sty, an online shopping destination for quality, stylish, and modest clothing
